Cureé Cafe @ KL

Image
Cureé is pronounced as “Ka-Ray”, it means curry in Japanese. This charming cafe is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Well, I have been hearing so much about this cafe and now I finally visit Cureé Cafe. The location of Cureé Cafe is near Jalan Imbi, it is along Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah, the alley next to Berjaya Times Square KL. Cureé has outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor Cureé Cafe has a very casual space as they also have a rooftop. The space is suitable for hosting a party or an event for people to gather around. Most of the interiors are made of rattan, wood, concrete furnishings and plants. There are also some adorable knick-knacks and drawings on the walls which I really loved.    The Cureé Cafe menu mostly focuses on Japanese cuisine but not sushi. They served Hokkaido-Style Soup Curry and Japanese Curry Rice. If you love Chicken Katsu and Japanese Curry, then you should enjoy your time and have a nice meal here. I had my delicious lunch at Cureé Cafe by ordering th

Flakes @ The Hub SS2, PJ

After a long time of lockdown and staying at home, we finally can go out and get a nice brunch. I decided to visit Flakes for a delicately deserved brunch. Flakes is a cafe located in The Hub SS2. The Flakes cafe revolves around croissants, Australian inspired brunches and coffee.     Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and to keep social distancing, I have to scan a QR code to preview the menu, make our orders and payment by self. However, on the e-menu, you will get brunch dishes, pasta, rice don and some other tasty desserts. Besides that, at the counter, there are also displayed cakes and croissants. Plain croissants have shown up in all their brunch dishes. Among so many other brunch dishes, I had chosen one of the best-selling dishes which is The Pulled Bell Chicken. -The Pulled Bell Chicken RM23 The Pulled Bell Chicken was a recommended dish and also a crowd favourite. It served in a toasted croissant, along with pulled chicken breast, diced bell pepper with harissa dressing and pumpki

103 Coffee Workshop @ Sri Petaling

Along Jalan Radin Bagus, Sri Petaling Kuala Lumpur, there is one of the hottest hang out spots for friends and family which is the 103 Coffee Workshop. It is a Japanese inspired cafe and as it’s known, it serves Japanese fusion food like dons, udon, snacks and some desserts. And for drinks other than coffee, they also have their own Japanese Milk tea as well! In case you haven’t heard, this cafe is home to the 2018 World Latte Art Champ. They are also known as the best coffee bean supplier in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. You can purchase some coffee beans back home too! This cafe exudes a strong vibe of minimalist with its concrete walls and the black and grey furniture. With the furnitures of similar tone and with ample of wooden elements, soft yellow hue light exudes a warm and cozy environment of the cafe.     I came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, and surprisingly almost every seat was taken and we had to wait outside for an empty seat. After a few minutes, we finally hav

Kooky Cream @ The Hub SS2, PJ

Here I am back at The Hub again. I really like the area here as it makes me feel at ease. No need to worry about the jam, overcrowded, car noises and most importantly the parking. However, at The Hub there is one cafe that is making its hype over the past few months for its cakes and coffee, the cafe is Kooky Cream.       The moment when I walked into Kooky Cream, I really adored the minimalistic theme of the cafe. From the neutral colour palette, wooden furniture, to the number of succulent plants they decorated in the place. The cafe is not huge but constantly full over the weekend, they only have limited tables and chairs, plus because of Covid-19, people have to wait for a seat outside of the cafe. Moreover, if you are creative enough, you can find a nice angle to capture some beautiful photos for you to keep or upload on social media.  There are many different kinds of cakes for you to choose from which are all made fresh on the day.    - Lychee Rose Cake RM16    One of their best
